The Prodigy

Bio

The Prodigy is an electronica act from Braintree, Essex formed in 1990. The group is currently formed of Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim, and is responsible for some of the most recogniseable electronica songs of the last decade including 'Firestarter', 'Smack My Bitch Up', and more recently 'Omen'. The band's latest album Invaders Must Die went straight to #1 on the UK charts upon its release in 2009. The band will headline the first edition of the Invasion Festival in Bangalore and New Delhi on January 13 and 15 respectively.

The inaugural edition of the Eristoff Invasion festival took place on Jan 13 at Palace Grounds, Bangalore and Jan 15 at HUDA Grounds, Gurgaon. The festival was headlined by British electronica act The Prodigy and saw performances by Australian drum 'n bass act Pendulum (who played a DJ set), Mumbai electro rockers Pentagram and a bunch of other Indian artists.
