On Ke$ha’s track ‘Woo Hoo’, which recently got leaked online, she seems to have sampled Blur’s ‘Song 2’. It is not known whether Blur have authorised the usage of their song. Have a listen and you’ll know what we’re talkin’ about. More info here.

Word on the grapevine is that the Indian Metal Festival will be held in Bangalore this October. The headliners are yet to be confirmed so far but the other acts include Cerebral Bore (UK), Xerath (UK), Bloodshot Dawn (UK), Inner Guilt (Lebanon) and Flayed Disciple (UK). More news on Indian Metal Festival when we hear it. Until then check out Cerebral Bore’s ‘The Bald Cadaver’.

Monmouth in Wales has decked the entire town with QR codes - over a thousand of them. More here.

Bachchan will be playing the role of sleazy businessman Meyer Wolfsheim in Baz Luhrman’s F Scott Fitzgerald adaptation. Supposedly he asked for no remuneration for the role too. More here.
