Word on the grapevine is that the Indian Metal Festival will be held in Bangalore this October. The headliners are yet to be confirmed so far but the other acts include Cerebral Bore (UK), Xerath (UK), Bloodshot Dawn (UK), Inner Guilt (Lebanon) and Flayed Disciple (UK). An all-night music festival held under a banyan tree on the outskirts of the city. The Fireflies Festival was held at Fireflies Ashram on the outskirts of Bangalore recently. Magical outdoor performances ranging from world music to jazz to psychedelic electro-rock to jazz amidst quilts and inebriation. We were there.
