The song is about this guy and the woman he is tryin for, and then her friends “cock-block” him and say he is no good, and she can do much better and deserves more. Hence starts the Battle of Thermopylae, Hell’s Gates, with them friends as the Persians, and me, the Spartan. Also bits ‘n pieces taken from a real life incident.
