The Tehelka Music Project Returns
The Tehelka Music Project is back! The series has, in the past, showcased some of the country’s best upcoming indie acts, like singer-songwriter Kavya Trehan, Mumbai duo Under The Influence and more, as well as more popular acts like Sky Rabbit and The Supersonics. After a break, the series has now returned with a video of Delhi indie folk band RUN! It’s The Kid. The band played their debut gig at the Escape Festival, Naukuchiatal, earlier this year and have been gigging around Delhi since. Here, they perform their single ‘The Big Parachute’ in an empty cafe. Alternational lineup announced
Alternational is a series of collaborative events in Bangalore, curated by Abhijeet Tambe (ex-Lounge Piranha). The next event in the series takes place at BFlat, Bangalore, on September 18, and features an opening DJ set by Tambe, and a collaborative performance titled ‘All That Remains Is Flight’ by Suman Sridhar and performance artist Manola Gayatri. Alternational kicks off at 8.00pm. Check out a poster below.
Black Metal Krieg announced
The third edition of Black Metal Krieg is set to take place on November 24 at Hotel United 21, Thane. The lineup features Delhi black metallers 1833 AD, Mumbai bands Stark Denial, Solar Deity and Cosmic Infusion, Bangalore black metal act Dark Desolation, Jaipur act Winter Gate, and Mumbai doom metal group Dormant Inferno.
