The Vinyl Records release Balcony TV video
Online channel Balcony TV is known for putting out videos of bands performing on picturesque balconies and other unorthodox location. The latest installment from India sees Delhi all-girl group The Vinyl Records (pictured) perform a stripped-down version of their track ‘Escape Trick’ on a Hauz Khas Village balcony. The song is about escaping urban chaos and the digital world to go someplace far away to chill. The Vinyl Records are currently touring the country with Mumbai dance-punk trio Blek, check out their tour dates here, and watch the video below.

Bomb Thursdays lineup announced
After Big Bomb Thursday on August 1, ennui.BOMB has announced the next lineup for its series of Bomb Thursdays gigs. The next edition of the series takes place on August 14 at Mumbai venue Kino 108 and will feature Delhi singer-songwriter Pragnya Wakhlu, Flameshot Fakirs, Pune singer-songwriter Gowri and Delhi alt-rock act The Alibi (pictured outside). Entry to the gig is Rs 200.

Urban Dance Tour India announced
The Urban Dance Tour India, set to take place at the end of its month, will bring renowned choreographers down to India to educate choreographers and dancers from around the country, in the form of an Urban Dance Camp. The debut installment of the tour will feature workshops by Chachi Gonzales of hip hop crew I.aM.mE, which won season six of US reality show America’s Best Dance Crew, Canadian hip hop choreographer Reet Roy and Indian choreographers Sandeep Chhabra and Manisha Agarwal. The workshops will take place in New Delhi from August 28 to 30, and in Mumbai From September 1 to 3. Workshops in each city will constitute nine classes spread out over three days. The last date for registration for the workshops is August 16. You can register by emailing urbandancetourindia at gmail dot com. Fees for the workshop are Rs 4,500.
