Avicii’s Sunburn Arena Tickets On Sale
We had announced the Sunburn Arena series of concerts earlier this year, with Sunburn promising performances by Avicii, Tiesto and Armin Van Buren, among others. Swedish DJ Avicii will perform in Mumbai and New Delhi on April 6 and April 7, respectively. Avicii will be joined on the tour by Swedish electronica producer Otto Knows. The venues for the gigs haven’t been announced yet but regular tickets to both shows will cost Rs 2500, while VIP tickets will set audiences back by Rs 6000. You can purchase tickets here. Goa Gil India Tour Announced
Goan trance pioneer Goa Gil is on a three-city tour of India, visiting Pune, New Delhi and Mumbai around the end of March. The DJ will kick off the mini-tour with Pune, performing at Cocoparra on March 24, moving on to the Holiguns Festival in New Delhi on March 27 (get details on Holiguns and other Holi-themed music festivals here), ending the tour with a performance at Blue Frog, Mumbai on March 31.
Arties Festival India to Take Place at NCPA
The Arties Festival will be taking place at the NCPA from March 9 to March 12 this year and will feature performances by the Quartor Ebene string quartet featuring Romain Decharmes on piano, Olivier Patey on clarinet and Gauthier Herrmann on the cello. The festival will take place on three days, starting on March 9 with the performers playing compositions by Mozart, Ravel and Beethoven on the first day. The second performance will see them cover Schubert and Brahms and will take place on March 10, while on Tuesday March 12, the performers will cover composers such as Brahms, Liszt, Chausson and Beethoven. The shows on March 9 and March 12 will take place at the NCPA Experimental Theatre and passes to the event will cost patrons Rs 500 and 300. The March 10 show will take place at the Tata Theatre and tickets will cost Rs 200, 300 and 500.

Skrat Release New Music Video
Chennai alt-rockers Skrat have released a music video for their song ‘Sleeping With The Enemy’. The song is off their album Bring Out The Big Guns (our review here) and the video features a lot of GoPro camera footage of the band performing in a clearing close to a body of water. Apart from a weird-ish filter and some pretty trippy editing, the video is a pretty straight-forward affair. Watch it below.
