The college festival will also see performances by 28 Indian indie bands, vying to win their annual Clash of Bands.
IIT-Jodhpur will be hosting their annual cultural festival Ignus from February 21 to February 24. The festival will feature headlining performances by Indian indie artists Rabbi (pictured) and Agnee. While Rabbi has been nominated in a few categories at the Jack Daniels Rock Awards 2013 (other nominees here), Agnee have been writing very soulful songs about packaged drinking water (here) and being nominated for the GIMA awards, among other things.
The college festival will also be hosting an annual battle of the bands event called the Clash of Bands. The event will see a tentative list of 28 bands fighting to win a prize of Rs 50,000 (winner) and Rs 10,000 (runner-up). The competition will also allow guitarists and drummers to win the Best Guitarist and Best Drummer awards, netting them Rs 10,000 each. The eliminations for the Clash of Bands will be held on February 23 and the finals will be held on February 24.

The festival will be taking place between February 21 to February 24 with Agnee performing on February 22, between 7.30pm and 9.30pm. Rabbi will be performing immediately after the finals of the Clash of Bands event on February 24. The event finals will take place 6pm and 7.45pm. The singer-songwriter will perform from 8pm to 10pm.
