Gotye fans, do not despair, limited tickets for tonight’s show are available exclusively at Blue Frog, Delhi today. Go!
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, we’re here to remind you that Belgian-Australian musician Wally De Backer, better known as Gotye, is scheduled to perform in India tonight. As we announced earlier, Gotye and his band are performing as part of Oz Fest, and will be bringing their excellently-produced live show to Blue Frog, New Delhi. Your Chin, the solo indie-pop project of Sky Rabbit frontman Raxit Tewari, will play a 30-minute opening set.
While most people know Gotye as the voice behind ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, that Grammy-nominated track that pretty much everyone has heard somewhere or the other, the Australian artist has three successful studio albums under his belt, and we’re expecting his latest release, Making Mirrors to form only a small part of his setlist. Gotye’s live shows usually see him let loose a steady stream of friendly patter between songs, and he’s also known to switch between instruments during his sets.
Limited tickets for the Delhi show went on sale online last month, and were quickly snapped up by die-hard fans.
However, in case you’d lost hope, tickets for tonight’s show are still available exclusively at Blue Frog, Delhi, and can be bought at the venue from 1pm onward. They’ll set you back by Rs 1,500, and we suggest you get them before they’re all gone.
Here’s what you can possibly expect from tonight’s show.
Gotye performs tonight at Blue Frog, Delhi from 10pm onward. Limited tickets are still available at the venue, for Rs 1, 500.
