Now in its 20th year, Horizon will see another br00tal edition of Unchained featuring Bangalore metallers Inner Sanctum, and a host of other performances.
Ramarao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT) will once again host their three-day, annual inter-collegiate festival Horizon on their campus in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. Horizon, now in its 20th year, will have the usual selection of college events (check them all out here) but metal fans in the area will be looking forward to one event in particular. Unchained has been a regular fixture in Navi Mumbai’s metal calendar for several years, with many of the best metal bands in the country playing the event at some point or the other. Bands such as Pin Drop Violence, Demonic Resurrection, Myndsnare, Zygnema and Wired Anxiety (who are alumni of RAIT) have all performed at this metal event. Unchained 2013 will be headlined by Bangalore death/thrash metal band Inner Sanctum (pictured). New Delhi metal band Artillerie, Mumbai thrash metal veterans Sceptre, and Mumbai groove metal band Providence will also play Unchained with groove/death metal band Orcus set to open proceedings.
