The Pune edition of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender 2012 hits Amanora Park Town between November 2-4. The festival returns to the city that started it all and promises to be happier still with a brand new lineup to match. Tickets for the Pune edition of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender are on sale now. Check out the lineup of the Delhi edition of the festival here.
Australian prog rockers Karnivool will headline the festival on the Bacardi Black Rock Arena. The quintet headlined Livewire at IIT Bombay recently. Here’s an excerpt from our review of the performance
Perhaps the most memorable moment was when, during the outro of ‘New Day’, several firecrackers lit up a confetti speckled sky as (Ian) Kenny yelled, “Are we waiting/For a saviour?” repeatedly, spawning out of thin air a minute for the ages.
Expect that same energy in Pune this November.
Seun Kuti, son of afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, and his band Egypt 80 will perform at The Dewarists Stage alongside acts like Kailasa. Das Racist will play the Fully Fantastic Stage alongside the likes of The Supersonics. The entirety of the lineup can be found at the official website.
