Prep yourself for the NH7 Roadkill Tour with a free tour EP of unreleased tracks from The Supersonics!
Kolkata post-punk act The Supersonics will embark on the first NH7 Roadkill Tour this week (dates and details). This will be the band’s first tour since reuniting earlier this year and if their warm-up gigs at Someplace Else, Kolkata and Mehboob Studio, Mumbai are anything to go by, the band is in top form. The band released their debut album Maby Baking in 2009; the record was rated our Best Album and featured the Best Song of the year as well. The quartet are currently working on their sophomore studio effort, and will be road-testing a lot of new material on this tour.
To get you adequately prepared for the tour, we’ve put together a tour EP of unreleased material from The Supersonics. The EP includes a Miti Adhikari-produced remix of Maby Baking highlight ‘We Are’; a song we released just after the band broke up in 2010, ‘Mundane Sunday’; and a demo called ‘Sorry For Yourself’ that you’re unlikely to hear at any live performances but is one of the earliest songs written by the band. The EP also includes a special fourth track. Guess the name of the track and leave a comment here. The person with the first right answer will win a special tour t-shirt and free entry to the NH7 Roadkill tour gig in her/his city.
