Have you ever had more money than sense and had the inexplicable desire to light matches, burn retinas and pop popcorn one kernel at a time from across the room? Well stop those tears right now, because Wicked Lasers have come up with the world’s most powerful (note: ‘dangerous’) handheld laser. It’s awesome.
With an output of 1000 mW of power, the blue laser is able to burn through balloons and plastic from a reasonable distance. Honestly I can’t think of any good reasons why anyone would actually want the S3 Spyder III Arctic Laser, but you don’t need reasons when you have a laser that can blind people. Not one of those crappy red lasers that might blind you. This will blind you. It will find your children and blind them, and then it will blind your dog.
Yeah, it can pop popcorn.
As you’d expect, it’s pretty pricey at $300 (around Rs 14,675). That said, if you can afford it I can’t really see why you shouldn’t buy it. It comes with a one year warranty, safety goggles (called the Arctic LaserShades!), a ‘tactical nylon holster’ and, if you pay a little extra (Rs 2500 to be exact), it comes with a whole bunch of alternative lenses that let you use it as more of a rave laser than a death ray.
