Indiecision Staff

Insane Prophecy has announced that they will be releasing a new EP titled Apogee Of An Inquisition on January 21, 2012. The Guwahati metallers formed in 2008 and have undergone many personnel changes as well as genre changes in their short history so far. The band is now made up of Ifty Sarwar (drums/vocals), Xulfi Nawaz (bass/vocals) and Bikash Subba (guitar) who have returned to their black metal roots. The band recorded the album at Lucid Recess studios in Guwahati and bassist Xulfi Nawaz had this to say about the EP

Apogee Of An Inquisition is centred on Satanism. It tells you about various ideas of Satanism and its secrecy to the outer world which includes – focuses on inquisitions, and divine rule to suppress the same. The EP is a compiled release that’s going to feature some of the material we’ve worked (on) over the past one and half years. Fans can expect some Scandinavian sounding, blackened death metal from India.

The band will be launching the EP at Black Metal Krieg II show which will be held at B69, Mumbai on January 21 (more on Black Metal Krieg II here). Check out the cover art and tracklist below.
