The Moshi Moshi Pop Phone is a reasonably recent addition to the IWOOT catalogue. It plugs into your laptop, smart phone or tablet and lets you then use it as a proper analogue phone like in the good ol’ days. Remember those? No? Oh.
Designed like the ’50s Bakelite telephone reciever, it not only makes you look like the coolest kid on the block, but apparently by separating you and your mobile device, it protects you from radiation as well. If that isn’t a good reason to buy something, I don’t know what is. Just look at the video below. How we aren’t horrendous radioactive mutants by now, I’ll never know.
Costing £24.99 (around Rs 2,000), it isn’t the cheapest way to pick up the phone, but it’s certainly one of the most healthy. And if you don’t think it’s worth the money, you’re wrong. It is. It’s awesome and deep down you know it. I mean, sure, it’s a little impractical to carry around all day (or use in public), but when you don’t get cancer it will all be worth it.
Spotted something so cool you just need to pwn it? Send me an email and it may just get featured on Need To Pwn.
