I say this about every year with the band (The Raghu Dixit Project), but 2011 was our best year yet! From topping the iTunes world music charts in the UK five times, to being on the Later With Jools Holland Show with some of the biggest acts in the world, to playing five sets at Glastonbury (deets here), and closer to home, playing to some of the biggest crowds we have ever played to. Its been the perfect roller coaster ride that has had us on the edge of our seats and I can’t wait for 2012 which promises to be even better!

The year began with our whirlwind maiden tour of the US and Canada, and ended with us getting into the studio for work on the 2nd album, and had Raghu’s first Bollywood music release, a headline slot at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender, an amazing episode on The Dewarists (photos here) and many incredible shows! I don’t think we could have asked for much more.
