The Times of India reported recently that Swedish electro-house DJ Avicii will collaborate with Sonu Nigam (an established propagator of kvlt around these parts; in fact, he’s the #1 propagator of kvlt in 2011) for one of the DJ’s new tracks. That’s right, Sonu Nigam and DJ Avicii will make music together and there’s nothing you can do about it. This might be very cringeworthy for a lot of EDM fans but perhaps it would comfort everyone to know that Sonu Nigam is an experienced performer, a veteran if you will. This is a man who has collaborated with international superstars, the likes of Britney Spears! Watch the video below.
If that video doesn’t inspire confidence, we aren’t sure what will. Nigam also intends to collaborate with Jay Sean in the future and we just can’t wait to see what that’s going to be like. Meanwhile, Avicii just wrapped up his three-city tour of India before he plays at the Sunburn Festival 2011 in Goa later this month. With some time on his hands until Sunburn begins, it only made sense for Avicii to make some music, and Nigam had some time to work with him between promoting his wife’s clothing line for men and launching his new album of devotional music.
