Mumbai electro rock act Sky Rabbit (erstwhile Medusa) recently announced details of their anticipated eponymous debut album. The quartet will embark on a tour of the country this month, that goes on to January next year (deets here) in support of the album, which has been co-produced by Ashish Manchanda of Flying Carpet Productions.
CDs of Sky Rabbit will be available in stores via EMI from January 10, 2012 onward, but the band will also be selling copies over the course of the tour. The album will also be available on iTunes, and other online platforms.
Frontman Raxit Tiwari spoke to us about the songwriting process on the album
Sometimes it starts from a loop, sometimes it starts from a single riff of an acoustic guitar. And then everything around it falls into place. A lot of electronic samples have been used in parts where we wanted to fill the space and create good flow.
