We sent out kvlt leave letters (you can view them here) to a few lucky offices last week. We meant it as a bit of joke or a strong suggestion at best, but one company actually took our advice. Mumbai ad agency Foxymoron went ahead and gave their employees the weekend off so that the employees could attend the Bacardi NH7 Weekender! Social media analyst for Foxymoron, Siddharth Sethi, told us that his bosses were made aware of the festival after Sethi received the leave letter from us. They went ahead and discussed the possibility of a holiday because the employees wanted to go for it.
Fortunately, the management of the agency wanted to go as well and they promptly switched the working schedule of the company around by working two consecutive Saturdays in order to get the Saturday of the Weekender off. According to Sethi, it seems that two executives are going to go with a bunch of the employees for the festival. You can’t help but admire how the company as a whole decided to attend the Weekender, and made it happen!
