Bangalore folk rockers Swarathma played Arc Asia, Pune on Friday, October 28 as a part of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender pre-parties (check out the entire list here). The folk rockers sampled some tunes from their upcoming sophomore album (deets here), and dropped some tracks from their eponymous debut album (stream here) as well. The band were quick to help the audience adapt to the new tunes, and the gig even saw a moshpit – something of a rarity at a folk rock gig.
Frontman Vasu Dixit also referenced Metallica, who were slated to play Gurgaon the same evening as a part of the F1 Rocks gig (which got cancelled; reports here, here and here).
