We’ve got photos from the American heavy metallers first gig in the country!

American heavy metal giants Metallica played Palace Grounds, Bangalore on Sunday, October 30. The Los Angeles quartet announced their tour of India earlier this year, and were slated to play Gurgaon and Bangalore. The gig saw an audience of over 20,000 people, and featured opening sets from New Delhi metal act Guillotine, local regulars Inner Sanctum, and Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro.

Metallica’s Gurgaon gig was postponed cancelled, due to a plethora of reasons including a “technical snag”. Check out our report of the press con, prior to the cancellation, here.
