Goddess Gagged Reveal Debut Album Details

The band fills us in with details of Resurfaces. Also, album art and tracklist!

Indiecision Staff

Mumbai post-hardcore act Goddess Gagged recently announced details of their debut album Resurfaces. The quintet will launch the album on November 19 at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender (tickets on sale now!), where they will be playing at the Bacardi Black Rock Arena. The band is producing only 1,500 physical copies for now, and are taking pre-orders over here. Pre-orders of the CD also include a badge, sticker and a poster. Check out our review of ‘Visionary’, from the album, here.

We spoke to the band about the album, why they chose to launch it at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender and more. Here’s what they had to say.

Well, basically by December of last year we realized that we were working really well as a band and writing some pretty cool tunes. So, we wanted to put some of our material out there by recording an album the right way. We didn’t want the production to be anything less than world class so we made the big decision to fly down Zorran Mendonsa from New Zealand and work with him. Best decision ever. It was an amazing experience tracking all the songs and extremely tiring figuring out the logistics of it all. But we’re finally getting super close to the release and that feels so good. We wanted to launch it at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender because it’s a great festival, and it just felt like and became the right time/place to host our release show.

Tracklist
‘Modern Machines’
‘Rosemary’s Baby’
‘Dreamer’
‘Inspire’
‘Visionary’
‘Sink or Swim’
‘Preliminary Stages of the Master Plan’
