Indian metal acts 1833 AD, the now-disbanded Workshop and Pune act Noiseware have been featured on a recent Metal Hammer compilation disc. This month’s issue of the UK magazine features Mast0don (whose new album The Hunter we highly recommend you check out) on the cover, and Global Metal Vol 3 – a 15-track comp that features the aforementioned Indian bands. The predecessor to this mixtape, Global Metal Vol 2, was another 15-song disc that featured 10 Indian bands including Scribe (recently nominated for an MTV EMA), Slain, Albatross (who will be out with a sophomore EP soon) and others. The magazine also put out a compilation last year called Planet Metal (deets of that announcement here), featuring Indian acts Bhayanak Maut and Undying Inc (who are playing shows in Norway this month).
