Famed indie scenester/ex-Pin Drop Violence bassist Rohit P-Man Pereiera has teamed up with Bangalore music producer Manas Ullas to form an electronica project, ViceVersa.
From the band’s Facebook page:
This journey is also about finding new sounds and along the way a lotta jugglery of beats and pauses, highs and lows, words and silences; straight up or ViceVersa!
ViceVersa, was conceived as a live electronica outfit drawing influences from a range of genres, from Dubstep, DnB, Rock nā Roll to Hip Hop and Breakbeat.
A self-titled album is in the works with a release planned at the end of the year. The duo has already allegedly composed nine tracks, including collaborations with such scene luminaries as Sidd Coutto, Sid Basrur (Goddess Gagged, Bones For Bertie) and Shalmali Kholgade.
We’re almost certain that this is a 100% legit project; anything attributed to P-Man is usually taken with anywhere between a pinch and a desert of salt.
Featuring Sidd Coutto on vocals, and produced by ViceVersa and Ayan De, check out ‘Some Action’.
