Watch: Headbanger’s Kitchen Episode 5

The Demonstealer picks poultry for the latest instalment of the metchul cookery/interview web series.

Indiecision Staff

The latest instalment of Headbanger’s Kitchen (previously described on these pages as “an ode to arterial plaque”) sees Sahil ‘Demonstealer’ Makhija get up close and personal with a humble, “roasty” bird, as he prepares a staple meal of roast chicken, gravy and mashed potatoes for Vishal J. Singh of Amogh Symphony and Keshav Dhar of Skyharbor. The chef’s once-feathered friend is demonically violated with butter and herbs; the end result is probably the most visually appetizing dish to come out of HBK series. The interview segment continues to be markedly less interesting than the food porn, but watching Dhar and Singh explain the etymology of the word ‘djent’ was possibly the highlight of the entire clip.

Watch episode 5 of Headbanger’s Kitchen below. Cheers and stay harmonic.
