Day 2 of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender announcer party saw some of the biggest metal acts from the city perform at the legendary Razzberry Rhinoceros on Friday, August 26. Goddess Gagged, Bhayanak Maut, Demonic Resurrection and Scribe drew metalheads from across the city, who queued up to mosh despite the heavy rains and traffic on the day.
Goddess Gagged opened the evening playing material from their upcoming studio album. Sunneith Revankar of Bhayanak Maut joined them on stage for a couple of tracks. Audience members finally got moving towards the last couple of songs of the set only to lose control during Bhayank Maut’s charged and career-spanning set.
However, what followed wasn’t too pleasant – a large portion of the crowd left as Demonic Resurrection came on to play, leaving them with half the audience that the previous acts enjoyed. The band played a tight, emotional set regardless. Scribe closed the night with a power-packed, set that saw a mosh frenzy and also Rahul Hariharan of Bhayanak Maut climbing up one of the venue’s support pillars during the last song.
