Percussionist Vivek Rajagopalan, who recently performed with breakbeat guru Shri and vocalist Nandini Srikar as part of ShriLektric, has released a new single titled ‘Quest’. The song is a collaboration between Rajagopalan, Shri (who plays bowed bass on the track) and violinist Embar Kannan. The track features a melody sung in Tamil, written by Tamil poet Subramania Bharati. Shri’s trademark bass-fusion production pastiche is spread generously over the five-minuter.
