Bangalore thrash metal act Kryptos are slated to launch their third studio album, The Coils of Apollyn, in October. In support of the album, the band is going to tour the country extensively, with the Coils Over India tour covering a whopping 30 cities in a span of 40 days. Coils Over India also claims to be the “longest and largest tour of the country by any metal band”, and to the best of our knowledge they could replace the word ‘metal’ with ‘Indian’ in that claim. The thrash metallers will be touring the country in a customised tour bus along with 14 other crew members. With this tour, the band hopes to “bring the power of heavy metal to all corners of the country”. The band recently played the Big Junction Jam Festival in Bangalore alongside folk rockers Swarathma and Mumbai rock act Blakc (photos here).
