Sidd Coutto, man of many skillz, recently released his debut solo single. The Tough On Tobacco frontman has been working on a solo album for some time now and is all set to release it some time this year. With TOT on a brief hiatus (as they prep their own sophomore release Big Big Joke), Coutto drops ‘Free’.
He tells us about the song
This is the first song off the album. I woke up one Monday morning and found out my schedule for two days had been cleared because a client changed their mind about some work. I put on my computer and started recording this song as I drank my morning cup of coffee. In the evening I pulled out my trumpet for only the fourth time ever and started jamming with the song. By Tuesday evening (post a visit by Hans Dalal, the Mixing Millionaire) I had a finished song ready to upload. This kickstarted the album.
