Blackstratblues recently played the Churchgate venue (check out pics from the gig here). Shillong blues act Soulmate recently kicked off their ‘Sunshine Tour’ in the city at Hard Rock Cafe. The Shillong Chamber Choir performance at Shanmukhananda Hall earlier this year is one of our highest rated gigs of 2011. So yeah, there’s much to look forward to from the I-weekend gig. Entry is Rs 500 and gates open at 11am.
For more details, visit their official Facebook event page. The name of the concert was perhaps inspired by a Dave Mathews Band song of the same name. Hear it below.
Update
The gig is postponed indefinitely. Stay tuned for more deets.

We’ve got some better ideas on this gig and we need time get them in place. To promise you a better experience, we’re moving the gig to September!
We’re sorry for the sudden change of date, but as Ozzy says – YOU CAN’T KILL ROCK N ROLL! So watch this space…
