The band played an intimate set and debuted a new track.

Shillong blues act Soulmate performed as New Delhi’s 1 Boulevard on Wednesday, July 27. The venue is located in Saket, behind an array of malls and amidst other pubs and similar venues. The stage seemed a little cramped, with the musicians lined up one behind another, which was a little peculiar. Soulmate started their set at about 10.15pm, and the place had totally filled up by then.

Guitarist Rudy Wallang began with a request to all the people near the stage, to refrain from smoking. Nevertheless smoke could be seen swirling above the on-stage LED lights. Tipriti ‘Tips’ Kharbangar and Wallang led the band through a series of singalongs. They also debuted a new track titled ‘Lie’.
