Yorkshire indie rock quartet Club Smith recently released a video for debut single ‘No Friend Of Mine’. The video is shot in first-person view, and prominently features the versatility of the nifty Go Pro HD camera. ‘No Friend Of Mine’ was directed by acclaimed music photographer Danny North and cohort Tim Blackwell (aka Grizzly Bros.). Frontman Lee Clark trained for three months to get in shape to play the protagonist (and antagonist) in the video, set at the York Boxing Club. The track itself is a gritty and angst-fueled, and pairs well with the fairly violent visuals.
‘No Friend of Mine’ is set to be released as a double A-side along with ‘Young Defeatists’ on June 6. Check out the video below.
