New Delhi grunge act Half Step Down hit the road this summer touring the country as a part of Harley Rock Riders Season II, and a few extra gigs to boot. The tour sees the band hit five cities between May and October. Regulars in the capital’s rock scene, the band released their debut album Overtures In Outerspace in 2009 and have since been playing gigs in and around New Delhi.
Season II of Harley Rock Riders will also see Bangalore rockers Thermal And A Quarter and Mumbai alternative rock act Split perform with HSD at various tour stops. The tour starts this Thurday, May 5, at the Blue Frog in Mumbai, with HSD and Split taking the stage, and cameos from Warren Mendonsa (Blackstratblues) and Something Relevant sax player Ryan Sadri on the cards. Answer a few simple quiz questions in the Harley Rock Riders Contest and you could win entry to the gig, and perhaps even a Zippo!
