Mumbai death metal band Demonic Resurrection has released the first in a series of web videos documenting their experience playing last year’s Inferno Festival in Norway. Given frontman Sahil ‘Demonstealer’ Makhija’s fascination with hamburgers, it’s not surprising that the video is titled ‘The Quest For The Heavy Metal Hamburger.’
The first episode sees the band land in Norway and make their way to the hotel, and eventually consume their first burger in the Scandinavian country. Highlights include the poignant moment when guitarist Daniel Rego realizes that hotel mini-bar fare is overpriced, and the Super Mario-style cliffhanger ending.
Mumbai hardcore act Scribe also played Inferno last year. Local metal act Bhayanak Maut are scheduled to play the 2011 edition of the festival.
