Bangalore folk rockers Swarathma headlined the Don Bosco Institute of Technology’s annual fest ‘Vismay’ recently. The event was opened by the Beat Gurus, a local, 9-piece percussion act, comprising various percussion instruments including the djembe and the bass guitar. In the grand tradition of Indian college festivals, the ‘college band’ also played a short set before the headliners took the stage. Although technical issues forced the performance to be curtailed, the set did feature the new single ‘Mauj Kare.’
