Music+art+graffiti+theatre+puppetry+mad colors will comprise the Holi Cow! festival in New Delhi this month. Spread over three stages, this is Delhi’s second music/art festival in the span of two weeks and the third official edition of the all-day Holi festival. The event will be held at the Holi Cow Barn, Chattarpur, on March 20.
The Live Stage will feature dancehall and hiphop acts, including Mob Marley Inc, Bombay Bassment, India Alba, Drop, Big Bang Blues, Al Faeda, Burqa Boys etc. The Electronica Stage is a poolside area, and the lineup includes artists like Vachan Chinnapa, Dualist Inquiry, Reggae Rajahs, Massive Sound System, Bay Beat Collective, Buffa Pirate, etc. The third stage, the Indie Stage, will feature a number of experimental rock acts – the lineup is yet to be confirmed. Visual artists like Nitin Bal Chauhan, Himanshu Shani, and Nida Mahmood will be live-painting a wall during the fest. Poetry and theatre performances are also part of the entertainment treats on offer. Bars, lounges, food and juice stalls will be at the venue, to um, “satiate the dancing bovines”.
