Kids, in the early ’00s, there were a couple of ways to get your head beaten in, in Mumbai. One of the most popular ways back then was, and some argue still is, to deface a poster of Bal Thackeray. Coming in a close second was a Pin Drop Violence moshpit at Rang Bhavan. The metal quartet-then-quintet-then-quartet-then-quintet was the metal band of choice for young metalheads looking for non-Slayer/Cannibal Corpse/Metallica/equivalent tunes to take a beating to in frenzied moshpits.
