Vocal groove peddlers Bauchklang return to their motherland this week for a three-city tour. The quintet from Austria has always been well received in India, perhaps more so than most places. We’ve caught them in the country on every occasion that they’ve performed here and have never been disappointed. In fact, their debut gig at the Blue Frog, Mumbai in 2008 was our Best Gig International that year, and a performance at the same venue in 2009 was one of our top performances that year.
This year the group plays at the Lower Parel venue on two nights, before gigs in Bangalore and Pune.

Tickets at the Blue Frog are Rs 500 a pop. Well worth it for one of the most ingenious international acts we’ve caught in the country.
