The days of the procrastinating Indian band are numbered. With advances in computer-assisted recording techniques, a burgeoning home-studio recording scene, and an overall increase in the general motivation of Indian artists to release new music, 2011 could well be the biggest year for Indian indie music in terms of quantum of music produced and released.
Finding out which Indian artists are releasing new albums/EPs this year was no easy task. It involved a truckload of phone calls, incessant GTalking, and one confusing moment where we called and GTalked P-Man at the same time.
