I burnt my Barbies when I was a kid… How many Barbie burners do we have here?
Mumbai electro rock act Shaa’ir + Func launched their third studio album Mantis (full stream) at the Blue Frog, Mumbai last night. The band’s 22-song set featured a selection of material spanning the band’s catalog, with new versions of set staples and a few rarely performed songs including ‘New Day’ and ‘Swirl’ (from New Day: The Love Album), and ‘Her Story’ and ‘Hard To Forget’ (from Light Tribe).
The set also featured guest appearances from various scene regulars including Sridhar/Thayil, Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy of Scribe and Vishal Dadlani of Pentagram.
