NastyPeach, a funk-rock-soul-pop-Blue-Frog-weekly-calendar-staple-circa-early-2009 band from Israel, are touring Asia and hitting seven cities in India from June 30 through July 11. Hailing from Tel Aviv, this nine piece band’s music features catchy bass lines and choruses which saunter into saxophone and trumpet interludes.
Signed to Rightway Records, an indie label (that, four years ago, signed a now-disbanded Israeli punk band called Not Kosher, excellent name), the band has a four song demo out. They started just making acoustic recordings with vocalist Odelia Shmulewitz and Ben Krispin on guitar, after which they took in new band members to create a larger sound and started being more of a jam band.
NastyPeach is on a pretty extensive India tour. Dates
