The Supersonics & The Mavyns India Tour

Double trouble alert! Kolkata Britpop revivalists The Supersonics and Mumbai post-punk n00bs The Mavyns are teaming up for a mini-India tour this February. The bands will play four cities – Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata.

We’re looking forward to what should be a fun tour. Both bands have been Indiecision’s Most Promising Indies – The Supersonics in 2008, and The Mavyns in 2009. The Supersonics’ album Maby Baking was our Best Album of 2009 pick while their song ‘Yeah Whatever’ topped our Best Song of 2009 list. The Mavyns’ song ‘Freedomslinger’ is part of Stupid Stupid Stupid.
