Watch: ‘The Unrelenting Surge…’ – DR

Demonic Resurrection‘s third studio album The Return To Darkness releases January 15. The 10-track album is the follow up to 2005’s A Darkness Descends (the band also released an EP, Beyond The Darkness, in 2007).

‘The Unrelenting Surge of Vengeance’ is the first song from the new album to get the video treatment. The video sees the band performing the track in an appropriately ill-lit, abandoned warehouse type location. It’s pretty much standard fare when it comes to metal videos but has good production values (it’s also available in HD) and features cut-aways with frontman The Demonstealer’s best Dio impression. A lot of post-production work has clearly gone into making this five minutes look pretty cool.
