Newly reunion-ed Mumbai rock act Zero played a surprise four song set at Mithibai college’s annual festival Kshitij. We were there. Follow the Zero reunion tour!

Notes

  1. The gig lineup for the night was metal act Scribe and Warren Mendonsa’s project Blackstratblues.
  2. After Blackstratblues got done with their set, Mendonsa invited a few “old friends” on stage. By this time though everyone pretty much knew that Dadar’s biggest Steely Dan fans would make an appearance.
  3. The set comprised just four songs – ‘Christmas In July’, ‘Lucy’, ‘Old Man Sitting On The Back Porch’ and ‘PSP 12″‘
  4. It was immediately obvious that the band, whose frontman Rajeev Talwar had arrived from the UK only a few hours earlier, were pretty rough around the edg… they were pretty rough.
  5. Regardless, the kids went mental.
  6. The reunion tour kicks off tonight in Bangalore. Follow it at tour central!

Kanika Nagpal took these ace pics. Video of ‘PSP 12″‘ after the pics.
