British indie folk artists Laura Marling and Mumford & Sons will tour India this December performing dates in at least five cities. Both acts will also record collaborations with Indian artists while they’re in the country.
The tour sees them traveling to New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata at a bunch of different venues including what is bound to be a particularly intimate performance at the Bandra Fort Amphitheatre in Mumbai. We caught both acts earlier this year at SXSW in Austin, Texas and can safely say that you will not have a better chance of catching quality international performers in the country this year. 2008 Mercury Prize nominee Marling has played some major international festivals and regular cohorts Mumford & Sons recently released their (much recommended) debut album Sigh No More.
