Sunburn 2009 Lineup, Dates Announced

It’s about that time of the year again when the party scene in Goa goes from being simply extravagant to being um, ludicrously extravagant. The highlight of this season is the Sunburn Festival that always promises big name DJs playing beaches packed with plenty of economy-Ibiza firangs. This year’s instalment promises to up the ante with a huge lineup including “world no. 1 DJ” Armin Van Buuren and “World renowned, Grammy Award winning Superstar latin hip hop music video male protagonist stereotype DJ” Roger Sanchez playing Candolim Beach between Dec 27-29.

Tickets are priced at Rs 1,500 for the Day 1 pass, Rs 2,000 for the Day 2 pass and Rs 2,500 for the Day 3 pass. A 3-Day pass will set you back Rs 3,000 and a VIP 3-Day pass costs Rs 6,000. There’s a 15% tax surcharge on all of these.
