New Delhi alternative act Another Vertigo Rush closed Rocktoberfest with a gig at Cafe Morrison. We were there.

Notes

  1. The final day of Rocktoberfest in the capital saw a gig (w/Advaita, Thermal & A Quarter, others) at the Garden of Five Senses, before wrapping up with a set by Another Vertigo Rush at Cafe Morrison.
  2. The TFA Music Award winners performed material from their debut album Murphy’s Law at a crowded Morrison, though we couldn’t find too many folks who’d made the trip from the earlier gig that concluded a couple of hours earlier.
  3. AVR’s music is largely instrumental, effects-heavy alternative that’s easy to like.
  4. What’s not however is frontman Viraj Mohan’s occassional vocal excursions on songs that would otherwise be fine without them.
  5. This was a pretty short set.

We took a bunch of pictures at the gig. Here are a few.
