Congo Square JazzFest ’09 Dates, Lineup

The Congo Square JazzFest is an annual Jazz Festival held in Kolkata and other cities in the north east. The Congo Square society is a non-profit society that promotes jazz and blues, and is responsible for organising this Jazzfest in addition to a host of other events. November will see the second edition of JazzFest ’09 held in Kolkata. The first edition of the festival was held earlier this year with predominantly Indian artists, including Skinny Alley and PINKNOISE, performing at the Dalhousie Institute in Kolkata.

The lineup and dates for the second edition have been announced. A bunch of international jazz acts will perform over four days in November at the Dalhousie Institute.
