Something RelevantMumbai rock act Something Relevant has had its debut album Feels Good To Be Live in work-in-progress mode for a long time now (a recurring theme in Indian rock this year). And everytime they play a gig, or release a promo, or post in-studio footage, one wonders whether they’re any closer to getting the album out. This time however, we’re pretty certain that the release date can’t be too far off. Maybe.

If you’ve ever watched Something Relevant live, you know where ‘Aha’ is coming from. It’s upbeat, multi-instrumental pop-rock that’s inclusive in an anglo-Indian Christmas party sort of way. Featuring keys, guitar, trumpet and a ‘Rainy Day Women #12 & 35′-ish chorus (“I’m so high”), it’s fairly representative of the STR jam-band sound, replete with a salsa infused bridge section.
