Growing Down Calls For Entries

“Sick of growing up? Then sing about growing down”

As tacky as that may sound Growing Down seems like a fun idea. An initiative by the folks over at City Spinning, Growing Down is

a compilation of music inspired by the fragmented conversations we have with the child within us.

Basically, it’s a compilation album with songs about being kids, and growing up, and that whole youthful exuberance that we often forget when we listen to mature, adult music. The 15 track album will be released online and on CD and licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 India.

Bands that would like to contribute to the compilation need to follow the instructions on this page. Check out the FAQs for what’s in it for your band. Gigs are also planned to support the comp in a few cities. More details when we hear them.
